Scholarships and grants

Scholarships and grants are a good way to fund your studies and are open to a wide range of students. Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences provides a range of different scholarships and grants.

Scholarship of the Ülo Pärnits Education Foundation

The application deadline is 20 May 2022

The scholarship is intended to support and commend students and lecturers who are successful in teaching and research in their exploratory research (studies, dissertation or master's thesis, scientific publication) related to the development areas of Ülemiste City as a future city, is of practical value and contributes to solving some matters facing Ülemiste City.  

  • A contest for up to four scholarships shall be announced each year.
  • The minimum monetary value of one scholarship is 1,500 euros.
  • The scholarship contest shall be announced at least one month before the deadline for receipt of applications in the information channels of Ülemiste City and EUAS Mainor and, if necessary, in partner higher education institutions for Ülemiste City.

RKRN Graduate and Master’s Thesis Scholarship Competition

The scholarship is intended for students of the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences who have defended their Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis this year and received the grade “excellent”.

The financial value of the scholarship is 500 euros.

The chairpersons of the Bachelor’s and Master’s thesis defense committees have the right to nominate the candidates. The evaluation committee will select two theses from amongst the submissions - the best Bachelor’s thesis and the best Master’s thesis. The authors of the best theses and their supervisors will be recognized at the graduation ceremony.

Kristjan Jaak Scholarships

The Kristjan Jaak Programme awards mobility scholarships to the MA and PhD students and young faculty members. The scholarships are open to the applicants from all subject areas.

Applications are accepted in three categories:
  • The scholarships for degree studies abroad are available for individuals beginning or continuing their PhD/MA studies at a recognised university abroad and willing to return to Estonia after graduation. The applicant must be able to speak Estonian on a communication level. The deadline for applications is once a year, on April, 1.
  • The scholarships for study period abroad are created for MA and PhD students wishing to spend part of their studies abroad. The scholarship period can last from one to twelve months based on individual need. Applications are accepted twice a year, on May 1 and on October 15.
  • The scholarship aimed for supporting short-time visits are awarded for visits abroad that last up to 30 days. These may involve participation in the conferences, intensive courses, visiting libraries or labs, fieldwork, meeting the relevant experts, preparation of teaching material or any other study, research or teaching related activity. The scholarship can be applied for by MA and PhD students, resident physicians and young faculty members (aged up to 35 years of age or 5 years from the defence of their PhD). Applications are accepted four times a year, on March 1, June 1, October 1 and December 1.
  •  The calls for applications are opened in the application system one month before the application deadline.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs Scholarship 2022 for the postgraduate International Business Administration Master´s programme

Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences (EUAS) is delighted to announce the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) one-year scholarship for 2 students from Georgia, Moldova, or Ukraine. This scholarship is open to a full-time student undertaking the International Business Administration Master's (IBA) programme at the EUAS and starting their study in September 2022. 


This opportunity is open to students from Georgia, Moldova, or Ukraine. To be considered for the scholarship the student must:

  • be a citizen of and resident in Georgia, Moldova, or Ukraine during the application process
  • have been accepted for a full-time IBA Master's programme September 2022 intake at the EUAS
  • self-funding student (not holding a scholarship nor be fully sponsored) 

Scholarship Amount

  • The successful candidate will be awarded a scholarship that covers full tuition fees and pays a monthly stipend from September 2022- to June 2023.
  • The scholarship will be initially awarded for the autumn semester and will be extended on merit until June 2023.
  • The total amount for one year is 9234 EUR.
  • Self-financing is 486 EUR.

Please follow the application process on our website as there is no separate application form for the scholarship. All applicants from Georgia, Moldova, or Ukraine gaining admission for the IBA Master’s programme are automatically considered for the two MFA’s first-year scholarships. The scholarship is allocated to the two best applicants from Georgia, Moldova, or Ukraine based on the admissions ranking list. The application deadline is 14 August 2022. Applications that have not been accompanied by a confirmation of admission to the EUAS by the application deadline will not be processed.

Estonian Development Cooperation scholarships are funded by the Estonian Foreign Ministry’s Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid funds.

RCUAS Contest of the applied researches 2022

The application deadline is 9 September 2022

  • The contest is for EUAS’ individuals (students, teachers) and alumni who has completed the studies this or last year.
  • The submitted work must be innovative and its results are aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the economy and/or the use of innovative solutions.
  • The author (s) of the best research will be awarded a scholarship of up to 1000 euros.

City Council Scholarship 

The scholarship is intended to support and acknowledge Master’s whose Master’s thesis or research paper addresses a topic related to the fields of activity of the City of Tallinn as a local government, has an applicable value for the city, and contributes to the solution of a problem the City of Tallinn is facing.

  • The application deadline is April 1, 2022.
  • The structural unit of the university or the student’s supervisor can nominate a candidate.
  • The monetary value of a scholarship is 1,000 euros.
