The graduation ceremony of the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences will be a little bit different this year. According to Rector Mait Rungi, the graduation ceremony has an important role in inspiring students for the future: “The graduation ceremony is one of the most important events in life, the highlight of your studies at university. On this day, you will be recognised and congratulated for your intense studies over the years, making it even harder due to the state of emergency. The concept of our virtual graduation is unique in its solution and scale”.
Universities in Estonia have had different solutions for their graduation ceremonies. Some have cancelled the ceremony altogether and some have arranged it in smaller groups. Not many universities have decided to create a virtual ceremony. Organising a good virtual event requires more than just a will and proper technical knowledge. That is why
RGB Baltic, who has more than 15 years of experience in event production, is our partner in organising our graduation ceremony on Saturday.
On the day of the graduation, only 3 people will be present with a number of state-of-the-art equipment at the event broadcasting center in the PROTO avastustehas discovery factory. The contactless and remotely controlled ceremony will be broadcasted from the most capable virtual studio in Estonia, Noblessner. The state-of-the-art broadcasting center will be crowned by a three-part 17x4m LED screen, supported by a large light park, state-of-the-art sound, and remote-controlled HD camera systems.
Graduates and honorary guests who normally sit in the front rows will have to participate online this time, friends and relatives are kindly asked to watch the broadcast on the eek.ee website or on our university’s Facebook channel.
Congratulations and greetings will be given by:
Mait Rungi, Rector of Estonian Business School Mainor
Aare Paloots, Chief Financial Officer of AS Mainor
Jukka Patrikainen, Head of ABB Baltics, a good partner of our university.
The live graduation ceremony will be hosted by Margus Nõlvak, an alumnus of the school and chairman of the board of Mainor Ülemiste.
We also proudly announce that Hanna-Liina Võsa will be the artist for the day.
Graduates will receive their final diploma with a digital stamp or on paper from June 25 at the study centers. For those who want to receive the diploma in the traditional way, we offer the opportunity to take part in the winter graduation ceremony on January 9, 2021.
