The EUAS and Ülemiste City welcomed a delegation from Digital Economy Promotion Agency in Thailand
The Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences (EUAS) and Ülemiste City welcomed a delegation from Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA), Thailand, with top executives from both public and private sectors undertaking an intensive training course called “Digital CEO Program # 5”.
Rector Mait Rungi gave a talk on ’Academia: Education and Research for Leverage’; he introduced Cleveron Academy, Ülemiste City Radar, Educational Training Credit Program, Ülemiste City Study Tours and Hackathons and Mr. Silver Kelk, Head of Development, Mainor Ltd introduced the Ülemiste City, Ülemiste City Innovation Hub, Future City concept, the digitalisation in practice etc.
Following the lecture, the Rector said: “It was a great pleasure to share our teaching and research practice with DEPA. Being a University of Applied Sciences with a strong track record in ICT, our activities related to digitalisation encompass cooperation with enterprises and Ülemiste City and our scientific research. We are delighted to begin discussions which we hope will lead to future collaboration in the study, research and science. Thailand as a destination country and the rest of South-East Asia are of great interest to the EUAS in terms of collaboration in research, students and staff exchange, public lectures, summer schools and international recruitment.”
