    Notification of illness and self-isolation as of 25 October 2021

    • If you have been infected with COVID-19 during your studies, please inform either:
    • the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences Tallinn Study Office (telephone +372 610 1900, e-mail eek@eek.ee); or
    • the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences Tartu Study Office (telephone +372 738 7400, e-mail tartu@eek.ee).
    • Upon receiving the relevant information, we will identify the possible individuals who have been in close contact with the infected person in regard to their educational activities and inform the Health Board in accordance with the established instructions as well as contact the individuals who were in close contact with the infected person.
    • People who have been in close contact with an infected person must go into self-isolation if:
    • they have coronavirus symptoms
    • they have received a positive rapid test result and are waiting for their PCR test result
    • they have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus
    • they have been in close contact with an infected person and refuse to be tested, which means there is no way to determine their status

    People who have been in close contact with an infected person are not required to go into self-isolation if:

    • they have been fully vaccinated, i.e. they have a valid COVID certificate
    • people who have went through the coronavirus disease in the last six months and who have been given a clean bill of health by their doctor
    • they have received a single vaccine dose after being infected, thereby achieving maximum protection
    • they have fallen ill with the coronavirus after receiving their first vaccine dose and have been given a clean bill of health by their doctor
    • they have not been vaccinated or their vaccination is not fully valid yet, provided they undergo two SARS-CoV-2 tests at least 72 hours apart.
